Christa Keller is a visual artist and graphic designer whose work is rooted in a lifelong relationship with color, form, nature, culture, and the ever-changing landscapes of the inner and outer world.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Christa was influenced by the rhythm of California—the music, eclectic communities, coastline, mountains , forests, farmland and vibrant energy of its people. She studied at California College of the Arts (formerly California College of Arts and Crafts) and has continued to explore and develop her artistic practice throughout her life.

After moving to the Southwest, Christa became captivated by the vastness, big blue skies, and quiet beauty of the high desert. Here, she has been learning to slow down and notice—to see, listen, and feel the subtle vibrations of color, shape, texture, and form. Digital art has opened a new creative space for her, where technology becomes her canvas and digital tools become her brushes and pigments.

Her practice moves fluidly between fine art and visual communication. Christa creates digital compositions, illustrations, logos, social media graphics, and other visual materials, bringing an artist’s eye for color, storytelling, and unexpected connections to her design work. Whether creating art for contemplation or imagery that helps a business tell its story, she finds joy in translating ideas and emotions into visual form.

Alongside her fine art and design work, Christa has discovered a particular love for creating whimsical pet portraits. Through humor, color, and imagination, she celebrates the unique personalities of our animal companions. Her pet portraits are playful, joyful, and a little bit silly—a reminder of the happiness and unconditional connection animals bring into our lives.

At the heart of Christa’s work is a sense of curiosity and wonder: a desire to notice what is often overlooked, find beauty in unexpected places, and transform experience into something that can be seen, felt, and shared.
