The appearance of mixed media
This mixed-media digital artwork explores the appearance of layered textures and depth, created entirely in Photoshop. The central figure is inspired by a photograph I took of a Quan Yin statue that lives in my backyard. I incorporated my own hand-drawn Tao imagery, originally created with liquid chalk, and transformed these elements digitally to create a layered, textured composition. The combination of photography, drawing, and digital manipulation creates a piece that blends traditional artistic elements with contemporary digital techniques.
